Big Mike specialized in cooking Friday lunches at the Mark for about two years. Similar to the Padre events, the Mark Friday lunches were a favorite hang-out of various local personalities. Where Mike played into the edgy vibe of the Padre, he also seamlessly transitioned to supporting the classic cool feel of the Mark later in many of the same weeks.
